Jaqueline Pereira is a Law Clerk in The Bhatia Law Firm, P.C. Arlington office. Mrs. Pereira focuses on Immigration Law, including employment-based, family-based immigration, work visas, and citizenship. She helps clients with applications and required filings, including H-1B visas, O-1 visas for foreign nationals of extraordinary ability, Adjustment of Status, and PERM labor certification applications. She also assists business attorneys with drafting and negotiating agreements, corporation transaction processes, litigation, and other specific legal needs.
Mrs. Pereira holds a Bachelor of Laws from the United Metropolitan University Center (Faculdades Metropolitanas Unidas - FMU) and graduated summa cum laude from Northern Virginia Community College with an Associate of Applied Science degree with a major in Paralegal Studies. Mrs. Pereira also holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International Legal Studies from American University Washington College of Law.
Prior to joining The Bhatia Law Firm P.C., Mrs. Pereira gained valuable experience as an assistant for law firms in Sao Paulo, providing civil litigation and taxes disputes support for major companies in Brazil.
