As the Administrator and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of a law firm, a law degree plays a critical role to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the firm while leveraging legal expertise to enhance firm-wide performance and compliance. In addition to overseeing the operations of the office, the COO is responsible for managing administrative staff, setting performance expectations, and creating policies and procedures that streamline workflows. This includes supervising billing and accounting functions as well as managing the firm’s budget. With a legal background, the COO ensures that the firm operates in compliance with all applicable laws and ethical standards, including firm’s attorneys timely continued legal education (CLEs) certifications, client confidentiality, and risk management.

The COO also plays a pivotal role in managing client relationships, ensuring high levels of service, and addressing any client concerns promptly and professionally. It also enables the COO to provide valuable insights into legal operations, such as drafting, case law research, reviewing contracts, and responding to any employment-related legal issues of the firm. Chief operating officer and administrator is also responsible for staying up to date with latest changes, may these be legal or regulatory that could impact the firm’s practice areas.

As a chief operating officer Ms. Lamba brings with her extensive experience across multiple sectors i.e. mergers and acquisitions (M&A), acquisition, and marketing.

In M&A, Kiran has played a pivotal role in analyzing target companies, conducting due diligence, negotiating terms, and overseeing the integration process for successful transactions. Have also successfully facilitated discussions and negotiations between parties to resolve conflicts by applying a strategic and collaborative approach.

Kiran’s multidisciplinary experience enables her to navigate complex business environments. Over a decade of experience working in healthcare provided me with a strong foundation in regulatory compliance, importance of privacy, confidentiality and teamwork.

Experience as loan officer in financial industry certainly played vital role in in corporate due diligence, mediation and negotiations while sharpening my financial expertise in order to assess creditworthiness, while ensuring compliance with all regulatory frameworks.

This multidisciplinary experience has enable Kiran to navigate complex business environments, balancing legal, regulatory, and financial considerations while fostering effective communication and decision-making across various stakeholders.
